I just LOVE engagement sessions– you’ve got two people, in love and happy, full of plans for the future, taking some precious time to just BE. I mean… it’s just so beautiful! And I’m SO honored that these two let me follow them around with my camera 😉
Flowers played a huge role in Branden & Sarah’s summer garden wedding– the invitation, lace details on Sarah’s dress, handmade bouquets, and stunning location (The Royal Botanical Gardens) all came together in a gorgeous arrangement of creativity, color, and… love!
Sometimes when I arrive to a photo session, I have little idea who I’m going to meet. I might not have ever met the clients before, only chatted via email or phone to arrange the details. It can be a little nerve-wracking at times but I was so SO excited when I spotted this happy group milling around the McMaster campus! My little “please be my family” prayer was answered: superbly coordinated wardrobe, check! Smiling faces, check! Super cute kiddos, CHECK! Such a fun family to work with!
I’m part of an awesome, kind, helpful, compassionate, understanding, diverse, and hard-working group of moms on social media and this past summer three of us got together to offer one generous giveaway– a Real Mom Makeover complete with haircut and styling by Linda Felice (Salon Indulge), makeup application and tips by Alexis Willms (And a Touch of Gloss), and a photo session by… me! To enter the contest, our members simply had to make a food donation or an online donation of any size to a charity of their choice. That’s it! And of the several entries, one was chosen to win– our big winner is hard-working mama, teacher, and Thirty One rep who could not have been a more worthy recipient!
Linda did an amazing job cutting Kathy’s curls into an asymmetrical bob and Alexis kept her makeup classy and natural to emphasize her natural WOW features– eyes and smile! Check out the before, during, and after photos!
