back to reality

No man needs a vacation so much as the person who has just had one.
~Elbert Hubbard

Being home is hard after a great vacation but I’m glad we had the opportunity to visit the Florida Keys again! It’s SO beautiful! It’s not hard to be overwhelmed at the incredible places and creatures God has created. The amount of fun we had was just plain ridiculous… an airboat ride through the everglades, fishing, swimming with dolphins, splashing in the pool, fishing, mango margaritas, deep sea fishing (for the braver of our bunch), touring key west, (have I mentioned fishing?), spending time with some really great people, and don’t even get me started on the food… you don’t have to tell me that I’m blessed 🙂

1. key west, 2. sea sponge, 3. fountain, 4. key west, 5. playing in the pool, 6. IMG_5041, 7. rent me, 8. IMG_5717, 9. refreshment, 10. key west, 11. key west rooster, 12. the fishing bridge, 13. key west, 14. starfish, 15. key west, 16. IMG_5821

"help for haiti"

These images (see if you can guess which are mine– hint, there are TWO!) have been donated by the local photographers of the Hamilton Flickr Group. The proceeds from the sale of these pictures will be directed entirely to the St. Joseph’s Outreach Program to be used in the disbursement of health care in the hospitals of earthquake stricken Haiti.

A HUGE thank you to the following sponsors:

  • Bell Arte Camera in Hamilton – for providing archival printing.
  • Ikea of Burlington – for providing the frames.
  • Framing Warehouse – for helping us to matte the images.

I’ll share the auction/show details once they’re hammered out!
